Greetings and Salutations,
Well this is the official first post to the Lilcon Blog. I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read my ramblings. This entire process has been strange for me, I always knew I would make games, I just never expected that my first official product would be a competitive card game. In my youth I always had such big ideas for fantastic RPGs, massive things that I now realize that I don't have the budget for (yet). Although strange, it is exciting. I can't wait to hold the first production quality version of Cooking Cards in my hand, to shuffle through and then decimate a group of play testers.
I need to publicly thank my loving and supportive wife Heather, as without her none of this would have happened. She is everything to me. Thank you for putting up with my massive indifference, my grumpy days, and all my other crap. You're fantastic. You do realize now however, that when I play video games I'm "checking out the competition" right?
If you guys want to hear me ramble about something that actually interests you, leave a comment below or use the contact us form. I will try to respond personally to each correspondence we get here at Lilcon as quickly as possible.
So I can't seem to think of something clever to say as a sign off. Why don't you guys send your suggestions through the contact us form.
For now a simple...
Thanks,
Dave
